1. What was the best idea you heard on the lecture?
That we have to get digital. I didn't expect the comment from the guy. But I really think it is a good thing to say, because it is important to be aware of the new trends in the business life. A lot of companies are using Social media nowadays and it is a good tool to keep in contact with the target group.
2. Name the idea you disagreed with the most
Creative cd's are gone. Concha Wert told this and I disagree, because I know a lot of people who had a lot of succes with their creative cv's. It really depends on the company you want to apply for. Because in my opinion a creative cv can say something about your personality. For a designer company I think it is really good to show them your creativity.
3. What is your position on the debate about English Fluency?
I think it is really important to learn english. For example in Holland a lot of people are speaking really good english and I think you have to learn it because it is important for your future. In my opinion we have to because you want to compete with other companies in other countries.
4. What are you good at? Where do you see yourself?
In the future I see myself in the PR busines. I think I am able enough to help new brands to promote themselves. I am good at organizing events and making creative campaigns. When I am back in Holland I will start my internship at Coebergh PR. I am really looking forward to it because I am sure that it will be my future.
5. Explain the idea that surprised you the most
mistakes: people have no idea about their profile. I am not sure about the presentation but I think he was talking about the online profiles. I really agree with this statement, because it is really scary how much people can find about you on the web. So you have to be careful about what kind of pictures you upload on you webpage and how you present yourself. Because it has a lot of influence.

Good and bad adverising
Good advertising: Nikewoman sports.
This is a advertisment from a while ago, but I tought it was really effective. There were several kinds of promotion. Tv commercials and street marketing. In my opinion it was really effective and you wanted to buy the clothes she was wearing.

Bad advertising: Mediamarkt Holland
This commercial was really ridiculous. It was way to long. At the beginning I couldn't believe it that they broadcasted this commercial on the television. It was annoying because of all the eleven products.

Product that has succesful shown integration
For this question I wanted to take Kitkat chunky . Kitkat has a typical strategy in different countries. THey are using their product everywhere. For the assignment I wanted to show a succesvol campaign in the european union. But I like to make a contrast between Europa and other continents to show the differences of the product and what they have to do to be special in every contry. KitKat has succesvol showed their integration. KitKat came up with the kitkat chunky which was succesvol introduced in Europe and other continents. I like to see how different the commercials are in the continents! . Here you can see a european campaign:

They had different strategies to introduce the product. In holland they introduced KitKat chunky as a kind of competition. Just as you can see in the ad. They put it as a challenge to eat the whole kitkat. I think that is why it was so succesvol. The people really saw it as an challenge to eat the whole bar in once.
In England they introduced also the kitkat chunky Peanut butter bar. Which was quite a good commercial. In my opinion their strategy was to see how customers would respond on the different flavour. In Japan they already have all kinds of different flavours but for in Europe It's harder to introduce weird flavours I think. But this commercial was good because they asked for the opinion of the customers.
It was funny to see when I was searching for the ads they have in Other continents a lot more flavours.
A great example is the kitkat in Japan. Tey use a lot more flavours than we do in Europe.

So the strategy for kitkat chunky was first to introduce just a normal taste like the old and normal kitkat.( which is a normal way to do). Then they were introducing in Europe slowly more flavours. You can see the commercial in England where they show the peanut butter taste. This product was really well implemented because they did it slowly and the customers got used to it.

Futurebrand
The ad I really liked from futurebrand was the work they did for Yalook.com
Yalook.com is an online start up of the Otto Group which focuses on fashion retail of more than 60 “trendy” brands such as Diesel, Lagerfeld, Kookai, etc. Their task was to make an online fashion portal from naming and website to a communication concept that is more competent and convenient than any other online shop on the European market. Their goal was to make it different than normal and that they differentiates Fashionworld from its competitors in a unique way. THey used real designer clothes as fashion faces. I think it is really good and it was really unique.
Another ad I liked just for the message was the one for no more malaria.
This is a campaign from futurebrand and no more malaria. I think this is a really good ad from Futurebrand. Not especially the ad, but the message behind it. Futurebrand is a global brand and it is good that they use their name to support the battle against Malaria. I like this commercial because of the message.

sexist commercials men and woman
Commercials in which a woman is used as a object:
Commercial in which men are misthreaded. In this commercial a guy can feel really offended in my opinion. Because you see a good looking muscled men comparing himself to the men who is watching the commercial.
Funny commercial where you see a clear difference between men and woman. This commercial is a good example of how they stereotype the men and woman. ( Advertising has a lot of influence).
